Does Your Dentist Use a Laser for Filling Your Child’s Cavities?
One of the greatest joys we have at The New Jersey Center for Laser and Cosmetic Dentistry is treating children. This is simply because kids have a wonderful experience at our office and leave a lot happier than they would if treated elsewhere. What makes us different is that we use a dental laser to treat children’s cavities. That means NO needles and no drills for your child! The dental laser replaces the drill, removes the decay and preps the tooth to place the filling. Next, a tooth colored (Mercury-Free) filling is placed just like normal. The laser light is so comfortable that a needle is not needed to make your child numb. In fact, Dr. DalBon has not had to give a child a needle for numbing in years. This also removes the risk of a child biting their lip or tongue while numb.
Dr. DalBon is highly trained in the use of multiple dental lasers and in fact, has taught other dentists how to use dental lasers. He also one of a handful of dentist worldwide who has been awarded a Fellowship from The Academy of Laser Dentistry.
